Crock Pot Meal
Prep Time: 10 minutes *Making your own beans: 4-5 hours Cook Time: 4 hours Ingredients 1 ½ pounds of chicken breast, cubed 4 cups great northern beans 8 ounces salsa verde 15-20 slices/pieces of dried garlic 6 cups baby spinach 6 cups bone broth (homemade broth recipe in my cookbook OR gourmend foods) Directions 1.Cut chicken and place in crock pot. 2.Pour the chicken broth in next. 3. Sprinkle the dried garlic slices on top and then the salsa and cover. 4.Set the crock pot on high for 4 hours, 5. At hour 3, add the baby spinach and beans into the pot. Mix a little bit with a large spoon. 6.Allow to cook for an additional hour Note: You can absolutely make your own chicken broth but this way is convenient and you are getting a great quality organic chicken bone broth when you use gourmend foods One More NOTE: You can make your own northern beans easily the day before. Place dried bean in the crock pot and covering with water (or more bone broth). Allow to cook on high for 4-5 hours. You will have enough for this recipe and another dish as well!!
