Our minds are mystical amazing things. I am not speaking about our brain but rather the mind that runs our thoughts and, therefore, our body. It is our seat of consciousness-the part of us that is the inner guidance system to who we are.
Our thoughts rule the world we see.
Yup, not a comfortable feeling to sit when you feel overwhelmed by the running myriad of thoughts you have every minute of the day. But fortunately for us and humanity, it is true! If we change our thoughts, then the world we see can be seen differently.
The ego will immediately jump to contradict this statement. It will feed you with thoughts of, "How can that be this world is riddled with strife!" Or, "How can my thoughts make a difference in this vast sadness that is our world?"
I say it is a world that is perceived from our thoughts. I have come to see that depending on where the mind is seated, whether it be with the ego or with God, this affects the world I see. It affects the projection of the world. Thoughts guided in the ego will have us believe that the world, ourselves, and others are bad and living a doomed life. A mind seated in God (or Source or Creator) will have us believe that we are one in something that cannot be doomed. Surrender your mind to the correct teacher. Allowing the mind to either learn from God (which represents balance, love and oneness) or with the ego (which is disorder, chaos, and fear).
If the mind is with its Source creator, as One mind, then it KNOWS that this projected horrible world cannot be true. Thoughts of fear and dis-alignment do not feel right and are quickly recognized as such. When our minds are listening to the ego, we feel off balance and see things so differently. Joy and happiness are sought-after things rather than states of being. The mind that listens to the ego has thoughts all day about lack, scarcity, desire for joy, wealth and happiness, and a belief that those things are not theirs. The thoughts of lack can be about self, others, or the world. Thus allowing thoughts of alignment and peace because that is what it knows. That is what feels right and comfortable and that is what brings joy.
The mind listening to its inner guidance, which is in alignment with who we ALL truly are, has thoughts that are in sync with peace and oneness. Everything (self, others, work, finance, relationships and the world at large) is not doomed but rather perceived in a different light. All is as it should be, with you vibrating the energy of God and pure love, making it so.
